People make mistakes, and everyone will probably make a mistake at one point or the other (An important exception: God never makes mistakes! See #15 for What the Bible Says about God Making Mistakes, i.e. What the Bible says about God Not Making Mistakes).
Making mistakes is part of the process of growing up – both physically and spiritually. Just like a little child will make mistakes as he/she grows in life, we can expect to make mistakes as we grow in our walk with God. There is an abundance of grace, mercy and forgiveness available to us from God. This however is not an excuse for us to willfully sin, or continually and intentionally do things we know to be wrong, casually chalking it up to “making a mistake”. God forbid! Instead, May our lives forever glorify and honor God, and May we be a shining light to others as we grow in God.
