“Wake up. Get dressed. Be up and about!”
Romans 13:11-14, MSG But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God. We can’t afford to waste a minute, must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence, in sleeping around and dissipation, in bickering and grabbing everything in sight. Get out of bed and get dressed! Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute. Dress yourselves in Christ, and be up and about!

Are you Ready? Bible Notes, Friendly Reminders & Summary
~ Christian Humor ~
A minister waited in line to have his car filled with gas just before a long holiday weekend. The attendant worked quickly, but there were many cars ahead of him. Finally, the attendant motioned him toward a vacant pump. “Reverend,” said the young man, “I’m so sorry about the delay. It seems as if everyone waits until the last minute to get ready for a long trip.” The minister chuckled, “I know what you mean. It’s the same in my business.”
On a serious note though… just a friendly reminder… Are we all ready for that long trip we’re all taking some day? May we all be found ready and not wanting, Amen.
Dear friends, “being ready” is not something we just do once and forget about it. Each day should be a continual process of knowing God and growing in God. But we have to take the first step to begin our walk with God here… so we can be prepared to continue on the second part of our journey there. So help us God!
